Hello and welcome to my motoring blog the home of super car reviews, today I will be making a review on the McLaren 12c Spider.

My First Thoughts

Stunning, The McLaren 12c Spider has a very natural flow and simplicity at the front but more aggressive power look at the back, the open top roof is also a nice touch, I am very enthusiastic to learn more about this super car.

The Price

The cost of the McLaren 12c Spider is set at a huge £195,000 which is very similar in price to the Ferrari 458 Italia but I have to admit I prefer the look of this compared to the Ferrari 458 Italia, the options on the spider though are very pricey and you will set yourself back an extra £1,830 and that is only for
Leather seats and a extra £3,820 for metallic paint, even the frigging CD player and radio are an optional extra for this super car, this is huge negative when buying a McLaren 12c spider.

The Details

Now for the good bit, this is where the McLaren 12c Spider can redeem itself, with a the same rear wheel drive (RWD) twin turbo 3.8 litre V8 engine that the McLaren 12c has, it produces a considerable amount of power with a 616 BHP AT 7500 RPM the McLaren 12c Spider can pack a punch but with the rivals it has at hand it is still lacking, some of the features the McLaren 12c Spider have can include.

• 60 MPH in 3.1 seconds
• Top Speed of 207 MPH
• 600 NM of torque 
• 7 speed Automatic gearbox
• Hydraulic Interconnected suspension system.

These are only a few things the McLaren 12c spider include.

Extra Fact

The McLaren 12c Spider's retractable hard top mechanism is the lightest of any convertible on the road.

Conclusion

The McLaren 12c Spider is a very interesting super car, and stands out for me, its not to shouty and doesn't try to boast unimaginable power figures, but it is a creative and fast super car, one that I believe would not be over looked as one of McLaren's Greats, Great Looking, Decent power and a all round beautiful car.
