Hello and welcome to my motor blog today I will be reviewing the recently announced Ferrari California T, I am looking forward to reviewing this one :)
My first thoughts
I think I'm becoming a fan of convertibles ahhh
This car has a very nice design, very sporty and the front grill actually looks the part on this super car, it looks low down with a big rear ;)
A very summery car, with a comfortable interior and not overflowing with high technological gizmo's, the back seats have very little room and anyone over 5ft would struggle to have much leg room.
The price
Ferrari have yet to announce a price for the California T and after some research have said that they will be releasing the price closer to the Geneva Motor show this year, how ever I believe that Ferrari will price the California T around the same as the Ferrari California with Handling Speciale so around £152,086, which is very expensive but considering the performance its the cheapest brand new super car with that much speed.
The details
Ferrari have packed a 3.8 litre turbo charged V8 engine into the California T, with a total displacement of 3855 cm3 and a maximum torque of 755 nm at 4750 rpm you are getting a massive amount of power from the California T.
Ferrari have announce that the 0-62 is 3.6 seconds which is not much more than the 3.8 seconds in the normal California, the Ferrari California T has a top speed of 196 mph which is achieved using the 7 speed dual clutch transmission system and also calls upon the huge 552 HP which is 62 HP more than the original California, seriously this car is quick and can beat all of the original Ferrari California's rivals which include the Bentley continental, Aston martin vanquish volante ect...
Extra Fact
Ferrari have also made the California T more economical by including a engine start/stop system at idle.
Conclusion
I am looking forward to this years Geneva Motor show in March, By then we will know the Ferrari California T's price and if it is as expensive as the California Handling Speciale, but with the performance of this super car being as it is and the design looking beautiful you have to admire the work Ferrari have put into making this super car special.
